2007 Internship Awards

The 2007 Jean-Louis Palladin internships awards closed on June 30. There are 6 more winners of financial grants that will allow these chefs to leave the kitchen for a stint at learning at the source. Each winner has been informed of there award and are making plans to take their internships.

They has until next spring to take their internships. This year we have one gentleman who is going to 3 different barbecue restaurants to study different styles of barbecue. We have 2 interns going to The Chef’s Garden in Ohio, one to Browne-Trading, in Maine. Two are still undecided. When you win an internship you have the option of planning your own time in the field!

The journals of chefs that have completed their internships are exciting. Each has had a unique experience and communicates it for all to read. If you have been considering applying in 2008 read some of these journals and you will be inspired.

Internship applications are requested for the 2008 program. Please check out the diaries of past interns to see what a wonderful experience each of them has had.
